He was born in Porto Alegre, south of Brazil, in 1970, and lives in São Paulo since 1998. Self-taught person, starts to photograph in 1997, influenced for friends as the photographer Peter Flowers and the maquiador Duda Molinos, whose work inspires images carried through for Dequeker.

In 2000, the photographer publishes its first assay in the magazine Circulates Brazil, with which he has collaborated regularly since then. Two years later, in 2002, he gains the prize of the Brazilian Association of the Textile Industry as better photographer of fashion of Brazil. In the following year, in 2003, he starts to publish its photos in the Europe.

He circulates Portugal, the French edition of Marie Claire, Glamour Paris, the Swedish Hasselblad Forum, V Magazine, TWILL, the El periodical Parents, among others, are some of the headings where Dequeker has published works.
