Bea Szenfeld was born in Poland 1972, where she started to sew as a four-year-old.In 1983 she moved to Sweden with her mother. Despite an interest in ceramics Bea felt early on that her mission in life was more related to fashion and she has now been active as a designer since 2002. Through studies at Cutters Academy in Gothenburg and Beckman’s College of Design in Stockholm as well as internships at Björn Borg and Stella McCartney, Bea has developed a very sound knowledge of fashion design. She does not let herself be controlled by fashion trends; she is indeed a trendsetter herself.

Bea first attracted media attention by featuring in the TV show Fashion House, where she spent eight weeks on location in Rome competing with several other European designers. Bea ended up as the winner of the competition.

Bea Szenfeld started her own company in 2002 with prêt-a-porter collections for both men and women under the brand “Bea Szenfeld”. She also creates vintage collections under the brand “Bea Szenfeld Vintage”.

Today retailers in the Nordic countries and other parts of the world sell her collections. Playfulness is an important part of her design, and Bea’s clothes never look boring as she continues to challenge and amuse herself in her work. Accuracy and detail are also keywords - a piece of clothing designed by Bea Szenfeld should be beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside.
